We prefer you come to our address for your treatment but can arrange to visit you also so you can enjoy in the comfort of your own home. (subject to travel costs and distance)
My standard treatment is just short of an hour - I take the time to get feedback if it is a follow on treatment as to the after effects of the previous treatment.
I have had a lot of cases where our clients have come in near to the term of their pregnancy and are in a lot of discomfort. After a 1 hour treatment the client has said they felt so much more relaxed and most of the time the baby starts to induce within 24 hours.
The best treatment will be taken over a course of time - a consultation will take place to see if this should be fortnightly or monthly and how many would be best to start with.

Reflexology is a complementary therapy that involves applying pressure to specific points on the feet, hands, and ears. This therapy is based on the theory that different points on the feet, hands, and ears correspond to specific organs, glands, and other parts of the body. By applying pressure to these points, it is believed that reflexology can stimulate the body's natural healing processes and promote relaxation.
Reflexologists use their hands, fingers, and thumbs to apply pressure to the reflex points on the feet, hands, and ears. The pressure is usually applied in a specific sequence, and the therapist may also use other techniques, such as kneading, rubbing, or stretching.
Reflexology is often used as a complementary therapy to help manage stress, pain, and other health conditions. It is generally considered safe, although it is not recommended for certain people, such as those with foot injuries, deep vein thrombosis, or diabetes. It is important to consult with a healthcare provider before trying reflexology or any other complementary therapy.
The effectiveness of reflexology varies from person to person, and it may not work for everyone. Some people find that reflexology helps to reduce stress and promote relaxation, while others may not notice any significant changes.
If you are interested in trying reflexology, it is important to keep in mind that it is a complementary therapy and should not be used as a substitute for medical treatment. It is always a good idea to talk to your healthcare provider before trying reflexology or any other complementary therapy, especially if you have any underlying health conditions.
Overall, the best way to determine if reflexology will work for you is to try it and see how you respond.
Reflexology has been used as a complementary therapy during labour to help manage pain and promote relaxation. There is some limited evidence that suggests reflexology may be effective in reducing labour pain and improving overall birth outcomes.
For example, a 2017 study published in the journal Midwifery found that women who received reflexology during labour reported less pain and anxiety compared to those who did not receive reflexology. Another study published in the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Research in 2010 found that women who received reflexology during labour had a shorter duration of the first stage of labour compared to those who did not receive reflexology.
However, it's important to note that these studies are limited and more research is needed to determine the effectiveness of reflexology in managing labour pain. Reflexology should also be used as a complementary therapy and not as a substitute for medical care during labour and delivery.
